Jerkz BBQ Bacon Dip
7 slices bacon
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (1 ounce) envelope ranch dressing mix
1/2 cup Jerkz Sweet & Sassy barbeque sauce
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 tomato, chopped
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Place the bacon in a large, deep skillet, and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain the bacon slices
on a paper towel-lined plate. Crumble the cooled bacon into a bowl and set aside.
Stir together the cream cheese and ranch dressing mix in a bowl until smooth. Spread the mixture on the bottom of a pie dish. Evenly spread the barbecue
sauce on top of the cream cheese mixture. Layer the bacon, bell pepper, and tomato on top of the barbecue sauce and top with the Cheddar cheese. Cover
and chill for 1 hour before serving.
Jerkz BBQ Bacon Grilled Cheese
Cook 8 slices bacon in a large skillet over medium heat, turning occasionally, until crisp, about 10 minutes; transfer to paper towels to drain. 8 slices white/whole wheat bread and brush each slice with 1/2 tsp. olive oil. Turn bread oiled side down. Spread each slice with 1 Tbsp. Jerkz bbq sauce; top 4 slices with 1 slice of cheddar, then 2 slices of bacon, then another slice of cheddar. Top with remaining bread slices, keeping oiled side facing up. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place two sandwiches in pan and reduce heat to medium-low. Cook until golden, 3-4 minutes. Flip sandwiches to brown other side, 3-4 minutes longer. Repeat.
Jerkz Crock Pot BBQ Ribs
3 lbs baby back ribs
salt and pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, onion powder
2 1/2 cups Jerkz "Sweet & Sassy" BBQ sauce
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Place ribs in a shallow baking dish and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Bake for 15 minutes and then turn over and bake for 15 more
minutes. Drain fat.
Cover ribs with Jerkz BBQ sauce
Place ribs in a large slow cooker (at least 6 quart). Cut in half if need be.
Pour sauce on top and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until tender.
If you want to caramelize the bbq sauce put them back in the oven for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
Jerkz BBQ Slow Cooker Pulled chicken
6 frozen skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 Bottle Jerkz "Sweet & Sassy" BBQ sauce
Place chicken in a slow cooker. Cover with Jerkz BBQ sauce
Cover, and cook 3 to 4 hours on High or 6 to 8 hours on Low. Shred chicken serve on bun.
JERKZ BBQ BACON JALAPENO WRAPS
6 fresh jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
12 slices bacon
1 cup Jerkz "Sweet & Sassy" BBQ sauce
Preheat Oven to 400 degrees/ or Broiler to High
Spread cream cheese to fill jalapeno halves. Wrap with bacon. Secure with a toothpick.
Put in oven or broiler, and cook until bacon is crispy approx. 15-20mins for Oven.
Let cool and use Jerkz "Sweet & Sassy" BBQ for dipping... YUM
Jerkz BBQ Chicken Dip
3 bone-in chicken breasts
1 teaspoon salt and pepper
1/2 red onion, chopped
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
2 (8-ounce) blocks cream cheese, softened to room temperature
2/3 cups ranch dressing
2/3 cups Jerkz BBQ sauce
8 ounces of shredded Cheddar and Monterey Jack Cheese (combined) Comes pre-packaged in Grocery stores as Mexican Mix or Taco Blend.
1 Bag Tortilla Chips
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Place on a baking sheet and roast for 30-40 minutes. Let cool completely then pull chicken off the bone into bite-size pieces. While the chicken is roasting, heat a skillet oven medium-low heat. Add olive oil and onions, cooking until soft, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until caramelized. Remove from heat.
In a large bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, 1/3 cup of Jerkz BBQ sauce, onions and half of the cheddar cheese. Fold in chicken.
In a casserole or baking dish layer the cream cheese mixture, smoothing the top off. Cover it with the remaining BBQ sauce, then the remaining cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and hot. Serve with Tortilla chips.
